Jetstream Media Technologies, a provider of Silicon
Intellectual Property (SIP) solutions that enhance the consumer
experience, today announced two new products JSX400 JetFx(TM) and
JST400 JetTitle(TM) for adding advanced video effects to consumer
electronic devices.
As consumers build growing libraries of digital content from
camcorders, digital cameras, camera phones, DVD recorders and other
devices, they are increasingly looking for the ability to edit and add
special effects to their media content. Today, they have limited
choices that involve basic video effects available on current devices,
or the complex learning curve associated with PC based video capture
and editing. Neither choice leaves the consumer with a satisfying
experience.

Products enable real-time video effects for consumer electronics

video effect IP core that can deliver real-time digital effects in a
high performance, low power solution necessary for the consumer
electronics market. Fully programmable, the JetFx(TM) IP core
currently provides more than 100 different complex transitions and
effects with support for virtually unlimited possibilities. Utilizing

JST400 JetTitle(TM) builds on the JSX400 JetFx(TM) core by adding
a software API that enables a wide variety of real-time title
animation. Optimized for embedded systems, JetTitle(TM) enables
designers to add numerous animations such as 3D fly in, high lights,
wipes, and rotations to their electronic devices.
